Congratulations to Mrs. Johnson for being the recipient of a $500 grant! We are so thankful for all the opportunities she provides for our SGE Scotties! She was selected for her South Green Elementary Library archeology project. This grant is provided through the local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an organization of women educators dedicated to promoting professional and personal growth of women in education and fostering excellence in teaching and learning.

Congratulations to the fantastic faculty and staff of SGE for their great work and dedication to our students. The KSA state test scores have been publicly released, and we were fortunate to receive a green rating again. SGE has improved each of the last 5 years. Test scores, aside, it is always great to see that our students report that they feel safe, loved, and supported as shown on the School Climate and Safety Survey. SGE is moving in the right direction, but we will continue to look for ways to improve each day.

It's hard to believe, but it's our last school Friday in November! So we celebrated our Top Dogs for showing politeness all month! Congratulations to these Scotties!
