Glasgow Independent Schools is actively seeking the next principal for South Green Elementary. We are committed to a transparent and inclusive process in selecting the individual who will fill the position. We value the voices of our staff, families, and community, and have designed a timeline that allows for meaningful input while ensuring a smooth transition for the upcoming school year.
We are inviting stakeholder feedback through a community survey, which will close at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 22. This important step will help define the qualities and priorities desired in the next principal.
The selection committee will review survey results, applications, and select candidates to interview at a special called meeting on Thursday, March 26 at 4:15pm. Interviews will be conducted on March 31 and April 2 and will help identify the individual who best aligns with the needs and vision of our school community.
The district anticipates naming the next principal on April 15th, allowing time for a successful transition into the role.
