The Glasgow Elementary boys team placed 5th overall at the Gatorland Invitational Cross Country meet Saturday (racing some older and larger schools!) in the 2k race. South Green’s own, Mason Stevens, led our team with 8:47, finishing 19th (top twenty get medals). Special shout out to SGE’s Michael and Preston for earning points for our team and Maxwell, Thomas, and Jasper for running strong races. Go, Scotties!

Congratulations to this week's SGE AWA Winners! These students were our Academic Weekly Achievers and were nominated by their grade level teachers for displaying strong academic excellence, improved performance, or a strong effort. Great job SGE Scholars!

In PE this week students have been learning about and discussing teamwork in an activity called Cross the River!

We're giving a BIG SGE Shout Out to Mrs. Armstrong and Mr. Riemer! It's National Arts in Education Week. We are so thankful for them and the opportunities they provide our students!

Mrs. Crawford, speech therapist, did a fun collaborative lesson in kindergarten this week about Sick Simon and the importance of hygiene!
